The key to human development is labor. The nation that is more industrious, the more advanced the nation. The status and importance of workers in Islam has been given. Because the worker is the key to all development and production. In the production of any commodity, the workers are the most labor-intensive. So Islam sees the honor of the workers. Islam expressed firm conviction in establishing respect and rights of the workers. So Islam sees the honor of the workers. Labor is an invaluable force and wealth for the human beings given by Allah. It is narrated in al-Qur'an, "Surely I have created man with labor dependency" (Surah Al-Baalad: 3).

Identity of labor

The literal meaning of labor is physical pleasure, physical exertion and so on. Professor Marshal said in the definition of labor, "Any kind of mental or physical activity, partial or full of work, which is intended for direct benefit without any kind of pleasure, is called labor." (Principles of Economic, P. 54).

 The status of labor in Islam Too much Islam called the food acquired by labor as the best food and declared livelihood to be a good worship. Our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) loved labor. He repairs shoes with his own hands, clad in clothes, carries sheep in the field. Prophet also managed business. In the battle of Khandak dug the trench with his own hands.

Hadrat Fatima (ra), daughter of the Prophet (peace be upon him), used to kneel in her hand. And for this, he had a scar on his hands. He used to bring water to the center of his own. The black spots were sprayed by a companion to drive the spade. The Prophet (সা) saw his hand and said, "What have you written in your hand?" The Companions said, O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) these are nothing but black spots. I used to have black spots in my hand while running the skull on the rocky ground for the maintenance of my family.

When the Prophet (peace be upon him) heard about this, he gently kissed him in the hands of his companion gently and with dignity. In this way, through the numerous actions and events, Muhammad (peace be upon him) established the status of labor in the world.

Islam guarantees the rights of the workers, for this reason Islam has defined specific structures. Islam described the status of workers as being more than begging. If we look at the instructions that Islam gave to the rights of workers, then a truly labor society will achieve breakthrough success and their rights will be established. The workers did not hate the workers, but they saw Islam in the eyes of their honor. Because no profession is hated in the eyes of Islam. The Prophet (peace be upon him) narrated the dignity of man eating food, al-Qasibu Habibullah means "the worker is the friend of Allah" (Kanazul Umm al, 4th volume, p 127).

Labor is one of the ways in which livelihood is executed. The nation which is more industrious, the more advanced the nation. All types of workers must be respected. The importance of working for a working worker is very important in Islam. Islam announced the status of employees and working people of the subordinate. Allahu ta'ala instructed people to go out after performing the Prayer in comparison with the work of Almighty Allah. The Prophet (peace be upon him) praised labor and labor through words, deeds and good character. The Almighty says, "Then, after the Salat is over, spread to the earth. Seek God's favor, and remember Allah in a great way that he may be successful "(Surah Jumu'ah: 10).

It was narrated from Abu Huraira (ra). The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "No person has eaten better than that, which he had earned by earning himself. Hadrat Sa'ad (ra) used to work for the blacksmith, his hands and his hands became faded by working with a hammer.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The people have no better earnings than that they eat and earn by themselves. Whatever he does for himself, for his family and for his servants, it is all Sadaqa "(Sahih al-Bukhari, p.192).

The existence, progress, civilization and development of the human race - everything is in the labor. Therefore hard work is not a small task, it is a very important task of human dignity. For small and large businesses, people have to work a little harder. There is no improvement in worldly life without labor. Therefore, the importance and dignity of labor in the eyes of Islam is extremely important.
