The movement against smoking throughout the world is underway. Smoking is harmful for health. Millions of people around the world are being consumed by smoking and day after day destroys good health. Smoking is not harmful only to health. Harmful to the brain, harmful to the soul, harmful to nature, harmful to the neighboring society and the environment.

 Every year millions of rupees are being spent on harmful sectors. Millions of people are dying of smoking and other diseases including cancer. Smoke begins to cause damage to the brain, lungs, and heart, and causes numerous human losses in the world. Therefore, the people of all walks of the world are trying hard to save people from the smell of smoking.

Harmful aspects of smoking:

• Smoking causes great waste of hard earned money. The deposits of Allah were burnt to the fire. The amount of toxic substance for the body in the body of the person who is smoked towards smoking, contains many toxic substances. By their influence, the efficacy of every tantric body becomes increasingly endangered and this resulted in thousands of diseases.

• Smoking smells like an ugly smell. Which causes hatred and annoyance everywhere including meetings, mosques, madrassas, office-courts and educational institutions. Often children and women avoid smokers. As a result, family and social turmoil came down. The lips become black, the stomach will be damaged, it can be seen from trouble, eating unhealthy, it reduces the sexual capacity. It may be seen, the nails of the hand become black, the loss of the lips, the fingers will be damaged.

• Smoker where there is dirt and cough-cough. Even if pregnant mothers smoke, their children are more likely to get crippled. Smoking is actually a slow poison. Bidi-cigarette smoke severely disrupts the office-court, shops, jute, educational institutions, factories, roads and home-dwellers.

• There may also be a decrease in body immunity. Smoke is more likely to cause all types of cancer, including mouth cancer. The use of bronchitis, cardiovascular disease, stroke, bleeding of the bones, junk, bergus disease, gastric, ulcerative diseases, etc. are caused by smoking habits.

What islam says about Smoking:

Smoking causes irreparable harm to human society. Therefore, it is unlawful in Islam's eyes.

Allah Almighty said, "He makes lawful for you good and good things and makes unlawful things bad and harmful." (Sura Al-Araf: 157) Smoking is prohibited on the basis of this verse. Because smoking is harmful and bad.

Allah Almighty also said, "Do not destroy your life." (Surah Al-Baqarah: 195) The prohibition on smoking in the demand of this verse. Due to smoking, many lives are disease-related diseases.

Allaah says, "Do not waste anything. The beggars are the brothers of Satan." (Sura al-Isra: 27) Smoking is a waste. There is a lot of waste that there is no harm to people. It is considered to be a waste of unjust and unanimousness to all of them. But smoking is a waste that only man's loss. There is no profit.

In the light of the hadith:
Smoking offense: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him said, "Allah Almighty hates you three things.
     1. False and certainty words - Message
     2. Frequently asked questions.
    3. Loss of wealth. "(Bukhari and Muslim)
There is no difference between smoking and smashing the property. So smoking prohibited is prohibited.

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "It is the beauty of Islam that the words and deeds that do not come to any advantage of man." (Muslim) We all acknowledge that smoking does not help. Rather, it does harm. So smoking is prohibited.

Eating all kinds of non-harmful material for human beings is completely unlawful in the eyes of Islam. In this context, the present-day Islamic scholar Allama Shaykh bin Baz (ra) has given the fatwa, smoking is the result of unclean, inferior and numerous losses. The Lord of the Universe has made the sacred things sacred to His servants and has made unlawful things unlawful.
